Kalkan Tourist Season:

The tourist season in Kalkan runs from April to October each year. It can get very hot in this part of the world (well in excess of 40 degrees Celsius / 104 degrees Fahrenheit) during mid season. If, like many British tourists, you are not used to the heat, try visiting us at either the beginning or end of the season when it is more bearable but still nice and hot!

Getting Here:

Kalkan is approximately 2 hrs from Dalaman Airport and 3 hrs from Antalya Airport, most package tour operators include a coach transfer within the price of the holiday. If you have arranged your own flight and accommodation you will also need to consider either hiring a car or at least arranging some transport. Tour Operators:

Accommodation:

There are many types and standards of accommodation available in Kalkan, from the Deluxe and the not so grand Hotels, through to self catering apartments and pansiyons. Obviously tour operators give details of all accommodation included within their package however, we have included a small selection within this site for your information. If you decide on a holiday without utilising the services of a package tour operator, you will find that Kalkan has no shortage of very reasonably priced places in which to eat (in excess of 100 at the last count). We intend to include further accommodation information for the benefit of our customers in the future. Our Webmaster has used two different hotels in the past during his visits to Kalkan and can recommend both. The first was the Hotel Nur and the second is the Hotel Tekinberk.
