MEET THE TEAM

TEAM HISTORY:	The Dolphin Scuba Team, which is basically a family business, have been operating in Kalkan since 1993 and were the first dive centre to open in the town. Our team of friendly and professional staff do everything they can to make your time with us enjoyable and memorable. As with any small business, members of the team 'muck-in' and perform any task that requires doing, even if it is not specifically their job. You will just as easily find the 'boss' doing the cooking at lunch time, as find him 'driving' the boat or instructing new divers...
DIRECTOR:	Kamil Karayazi is a methodical man who gives a first impression of having a very serious nature however, this facade hides the true underlying sense of fun and enjoyment he holds in the job at hand. He is a highly qualified diver and PADI diving instructor, as the quantity of certificates on the office wall will show you! Yes, Kamil is very serious about safety of the boat, safe diving and ensuring that all customers get quality instruction to a very high level. He is however, also concerned that everyone enjoys the day and has a good time. He has a pleasant sense of humour and, watch out for his culinary skills at lunch time, if you want to dive after lunch be careful that you don't eat too much!
BOAT CAPTAIN:	Our Captain, who is also a qualified and experienced diver, has been sailing the waters around Kalkan for many years. Having a close affinity and working relationship with the towns fishing and pleasure boat community, he always has the latest news and information about dive sites and new areas that are likely to be of interest to divers.
INSTRUCTORS:	Our dive guides and instructors are qualified to the highest internationally recognised diving standards, trained in first aid and all are English speaking with a good knowledge of at least one other language. Like the Director, our instructors aim is for you to have an enjoyable day out and to learn how to dive safely.
ADMINISTRATION:	Birgit Karayazi is the power behind the administration machine and, the team member that you are likely to come into contact with first. If you want to book a course, arrange some diving whilst you are on holiday in the area or just ask for more information, contact Birgit who will be more than happy to give you all the assistance she can (see below).
Could you fill this space?	From time to time we have instructor vacancies available at Dolphin Scuba Team. If you hold a current PADI Instructor or PADI Divemaster qualification, please contact us by e-mail giving details of your qualifications and experience. Who knows, we might be able to work together?
WEBMASTER:	Although not part of the business as such, David Hasney, (our first Webmaster) has been coming to Kalkan for several years on holiday from the UK. He was impressed with our business when he took up diving however, he had difficulty in originally finding any details about us on the web. Being interested in computers and the Internet as part of his University studies, and having built some websites in the past, he offered to help Dolphin Scuba Team get on the net.
