The British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC)
is the governing body for recreational diving in the UK as well
as being, another major training organisation who's standards
have world-wide recognition. The BSAC is also a leading member
of the World Underwater
Federation (CMAS) and, probably one of the oldest and largest
diving clubs in the world today. |

The SAA is
an association of sub-Aqua clubs in the UK who also provide comprehensive
and nationally recognised diving qualifications. |

The SSI was
formed to provide an internationally recognised trade association
and self regulating body for scuba training schools at resorts
throughout the world. The SSI ensures that high uniform standards
of training and facilities are met and maintained amongst its

DAN Europe, is a division
of the International
Divers Alert Network which exists to provide assistance in
the form of medical and insurance facilities that may be required
